I was walking through a used bookstore (which is a great way to save $$$ if you're on a tight budget) when I saw "The Little Prince". I've heard about the book before, my high english teachers used to rave about it and even created a "Litte Prince/Princess Day". I just assumed it was a cute fairy tale for little children ending with a cute "and the moral of the story is..." However, that day it peaked my interest so I decided to read it.
I read it in one night, and I have to admit I shed a few tears for the Prince. I could relate to the the characters and it made me rethink some of my own views I have on my own life and people in it.
Since it is such a short book I don't want to give too much away, but if you ever come across give it chance! It's a sweet book and can stop you from thinking too much like a "grown-up".
"The Little Prince"

UGG
OMG didn't you just love it! It is so well written that children and adults alike can enjoy it. It has different layers of metaphors and lessons that readers of any age can understand. I loved the naivete of the narration and the innocence exuded by the main character, unforgettable story!
